The beginning
Our founder joined a biomedical-equipment startup and started cataloging the friction points across service, sales, and shipping that were ripe for automation.
Our Manifesto
Medical equipment should work for the people who need it. Not get buried in bureaucracy.
Friction slows progress. Hidden information wastes time. Confusion costs lives.
By removing barriers, streamlining communication, and connecting people with the right data at the right time, there's NO guesswork. No delays.
ONLY transparency, efficiency, and smarter decisions.
When hospitals and vendors have the full picture, they act with confidence. Equipment gets where it's needed, when it's needed, and works at its best.
Powering clarity. Driving efficiency. Transforming healthcare.
About EzMedSource
EzMedSource is a vendor-neutral, RFQ-native marketplace. We maintain a canonical catalog of manufacturer + model information across patient monitors, modules, transducers, telemetry, and related devices. Hospital buyers send a single quote request; approved vendors respond with competitive bids. Free for buyers.
What we do
One canonical page per product model. Manufacturer names are normalized, model numbers are reconciled, and specs are structured so cross-vendor comparison is actually meaningful. Vendors cannot create duplicate entries under alternate names.
Every vendor organization goes through super-admin review before listings appear. We verify business legitimacy, service category, and contact information. Rejected applications get a note explaining why.
One buyer submission, many vendor responses. Each vendor only sees the items they can quote on. Buyers get a consolidated comparison of price, lead time, and warranty — no email threads to wrangle.
How we stay transparent
Paid placements (when they exist) are clearly disclosed and capped. Organic ranking is based on relevance + vendor reputation signals, not commission tier.
Manufacturers and categories are canonical, not vendor-defined. Two vendors can't list “Philips MP5” and “Philips Mp5” as separate products. Taxonomy changes are reviewed by admin.
Our story
From a single biomed shop running on Google Sheets to a nationwide marketplace and AI tooling — the milestones along the way.
FAQ
The marketplace is free for hospital buyers — search, RFQs, and quote acceptance cost nothing. Vendors pick one of three usage-based tiers (Starter, Growth, Enterprise) with a quarterly fee plus a small percentage of completed repair volume. There are no buyer fees and no pay-to-rank in search — see /pricing for vendor tier details.
Any medical equipment vendor can apply — ISOs, OEMs, depot repair shops, and field-service providers. Applications are reviewed by a super-admin before the vendor can post listings. We verify business legitimacy (business entity, category of service, contact information) before approval.
Current coverage
Browse the catalog, or apply to list as a vendor. No credit card.
Classification (ISO, OEM, Depot, Field Service) and specializations are shown on every listing. Response rate + time metrics are exposed to buyers as those signals accumulate.
Hospital accounts pay nothing. No buyer data is sold. No pay-to-play for preferred vendor access.

Yes. Manufacturer and product taxonomy are platform-controlled, not vendor-controlled. That means you can compare the same product model across every vendor offering it without running into duplicate listings under slightly different names. Vendors can request new canonical product models; we review before adding.
RFQ stands for Request For Quote. Instead of single-vendor checkout, buyers add as many products as they need to a quote-request cart. One submission fans out to every vendor who can fulfill any of those items. Each vendor sees only the items they can quote on. You get back a consolidated comparison of prices, lead times, and warranty terms.
Historical average / min / max pricing (aggregated from real sales history) is sensitive competitive intelligence. We share it with registered buyers and vendors, but not with anonymous crawlers or scrapers. Current vendor listings — which vendors choose to publish — are always public.
Current coverage focuses on patient monitoring: modules, monitors, transducers, telemetry equipment, and related parts. The catalog currently includes 11,644 canonical product models across 84 manufacturers. We expand coverage as vendors bring new inventory.
