Overview
The GE E-CAIO series is a double-wide gas analysis module for use with GE patient monitors equipped with compatible module racks (external or internal). The module measures oxygen (O2), nitrous oxide (N2O), and carbon dioxide (CO2); the E-CaiOv variant adds spirometry capability, and the E-CaiO and E-CaiOv variants can also identify and measure anesthetic agent gases. The module samples gas at 200 ml/min via a 3-meter sample line connected to the patient circuit or breathing system. Output displays measured gas concentrations on the monitor screen. Configuration options: - E-CO: O2, N2O, CO2 measurement - E-CaiO: O2, N2O, CO2, and agent gas measurement - E-CaiOv: O2, N2O, CO2, agent gas, and spirometry
