The GE Aisys Carestation is a modular anesthesia delivery system designed for operating room and critical care environments. It integrates ventilation control, gas delivery, and patient monitoring into a single workstation. The machine receives fresh gas from wall or tank supply, controls vapor delivery through two Selectatec-compatible vaporizer positions, and manages ventilation via a compact, modular breathing circuit. A 15-inch touchscreen with configurable layouts displays real-time waveforms, numeric parameters, and gas concentrations. The system supports multiple ventilation modes and integrates patient data via HL7, USB, and optional EMR connectivity.
