The GE Carestation 650 is a critical-care ventilator designed for ICU, operating room, and transport use. It delivers controlled and spontaneous ventilation modes across a range of tidal volumes and fresh gas flows, with real-time monitoring displayed on a 15-inch touchscreen. The integrated breathing circuit is autoclavable and designed for low compliance. The unit supports up to two vaporizers via Selectatec connector with automatic exclusion logic, and maintains an internal battery capable of sustaining ventilation and monitoring for up to 90 minutes during power loss. The Carestation 650 stores up to 14 days of patient trend and event data for retrospective review. Clinical views on the touchscreen are customizable to individual workflow preferences.
