The GE PROCARE Monitor B40 is a bedside patient monitor in GE's PROCARE line, designed for continuous vital-sign monitoring in adult, pediatric, and neonatal settings. It receives ECG (3- or 5-lead), SpO₂, NIBP, respiration (impedance), and temperature data, and displays them on a 12.1-inch color TFT screen. Trend data and alarm/event logs are stored for retrospective review. The monitor connects to hospital networks via LAN and USB, and supports HL7 messaging; a nurse call interface is available as an option. Optional parameter modules enable EtCO₂ (sidestream or mainstream) and invasive blood pressure monitoring (up to 2 channels).
