The Mindray A5 is a modular anesthesia workstation designed for operating rooms and critical care environments. It delivers ventilation across six modes—VCV, PCV, SIMV (VC/PC), PSV-Pro, Manual, and Spontaneous—and displays real-time waveforms and parameters on a 15-inch color touchscreen with user-configurable layouts. The breathing circuit is modular and autoclavable for sterilization. Anesthetic agents are delivered via dual Selectatec-compatible vaporizer mounts. A built-in battery provides up to 90 minutes of backup power in case of AC loss. The workstation connects to hospital networks via USB, Ethernet, and HL7-compatible interfaces for integration with electronic medical records and anesthesia information management systems.
