MX40 Philips Telemetry Pack WLAN

The Philips MX40 is a wireless telemetry pack in the IntelliVue family, designed for continuous patient monitoring during mobility throughout care units. It transmits ECG (up to 6 leads) and SpO₂ data via hospital WLAN to IntelliVue monitors and central stations. The 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen displays waveforms and vital signs; clinicians can configure which parameters and waveforms appear on screen. A built-in accelerometer detects sudden movement or inactivity and triggers motion alarms. The device communicates with IntelliVue Guardian and other Philips central monitoring systems. The pack weighs approximately 125 g with its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which is hot-swappable to maintain continuous monitoring. It carries an IPX7 waterproof rating. Connection uses IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN with WPA2 security.
