Sony PMW-10MD 3CCD HD Camera

The Sony PMW-10MD is a compact 3CMOS HD camera head designed for surgical video capture and real-time OR display. It houses three 1/2-inch CMOS sensors and records full 1080p video at 60 fps or 50 fps progressive scan. The camera connects to the HXR-MCU1 recorder for direct capture to SxS memory cards, and outputs via HD-SDI, HDMI, and i.LINK (IEEE1394) for connection to surgical monitors and third-party recording systems. Its small form factor integrates with surgical microscopes and endoscopes with minimal obstruction. On-screen controls allow adjustment of white balance, gain, gamma, and image orientation without breaking the sterile field. The camera is designed for hospital OR environments with safety-compliant materials and robust construction.
