The Sony PVM-2551MD is a 25-inch OLED surgical display designed for real-time image guidance in operating rooms. It receives video feeds via HD-SDI, HDMI, DVI-D, RGB, or analog composite inputs and renders them at 1920 × 1080 resolution on an OLED panel. The organic light-emitting diode technology produces true blacks and high contrast without backlighting, enabling accurate tissue differentiation and color consistency across the visible spectrum. Response times are negligible, making it suitable for live endoscopic, laparoscopic, and microscopic workflows where latency must be minimal. The monitor's housing is antimicrobial and designed to be wiped clean between cases. Its panel maintains consistent brightness and color across 89° viewing angles in all directions, accommodating multi-position surgical teams. The front control interface simplifies adjustment in sterile environments. The display also supports picture-in-picture and side-by-side modes for concurrent comparison of multiple video sources.
