The Baxter Flo-Gard 6201 is a single-channel volumetric IV infusion pump used across acute-care and ambulatory settings for delivery of fluids, medications, blood products, and nutrients. It receives fluid from standard Baxter IV administration sets (PVC or DEHP-free) and dispenses at user-programmed flow rates from 1 to 999 mL/hr, with a cumulative volume limit up to 9,999 mL. The back-lit LCD display and membrane keypad allow clinicians to set infusion parameters and monitor delivery status in any lighting condition. The pump maintains infusion accuracy within ±5% and monitors the line continuously, generating alarms for occlusion, air-in-line, low battery, volume completion, and door-open events. An internal rechargeable battery supports up to 6 hours of operation during transport or AC power loss, making it suitable for ICU, emergency, perioperative, oncology, and home-infusion environments. Configuration notes: - Single pump channel - Flow rate range: 1–999 mL/hr (1 mL/hr increments) - Volume limit: 1–9,999 mL - Battery backup: up to 6 hours - Occlusion and air-in-line detection
