The Baxter Flo-Gard 6301 is a dual-channel infusion pump designed for hospital-based fluid administration. Each channel operates independently, allowing two separate infusions in a single device footprint. The pump accepts standard Baxter solution administration sets and infuses a wide variety of fluids, including blood and fat emulsions; it is suitable for epidural administration. The device features programmable delivery profiles on each channel, supporting up to 10 sequential infusion programs to enable medication ramping. Configurable sensitivity settings allow occlusion detection and air-in-line detection to be tailored to institutional protocols. A safety clamp automatically occludes tubing when the pump door opens. Remote monitoring and control are available via RS-232C interface.
