The Baxter Spectrum IQ is a large-volume infusion pump designed for hospital and clinical infusion workflows. The unit features a color display with on-screen barcode generation for medication verification. It includes a pre-populated drug library sourced from FDB Infusion Knowledge, and integrates asset tracking via the built-in DeviceVue application without requiring external tagging. The pump can route alarms and infusion start/stop messages to secondary alarm-management systems, and the Infusion Dashboard with Charge Capture automates documentation of infusion start and stop times for billing purposes. Wireless operation is available with an optional wireless battery pack. The pump accepts standard IV tubing and operates within typical hospital electrical and network infrastructure.
