BD Alaris 8300

The BD Alaris 8300 is a sidestream capnograph module for the Alaris infusion platform. It uses Oridion's patented microstream non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) spectroscopy to measure end-tidal CO2 (EtCO2), inspired CO2 (FiCO2), and respiratory rate from sampled breath gas. The module draws gas samples through disposable sampling lines connected to the patient or ventilator circuit; an inline microstream filter removes moisture and secretions while preserving waveform fidelity. The sample cell operates on a 15-microliter volume per measurement cycle. Sampling lines eliminate the need for external sensors, moving parts, or routine calibration.
