The Leica M525 OH4 is a surgical microscope designed for overhead-mounted use in operating rooms. It mounts on a motorized floor stand with a 230 cm reach and minimal footprint, positioning the optical head above the surgical field. The microscope receives light from a 300-watt Xenon or high-intensity LED source (model-dependent) and delivers magnified images through wide-field 10x or 12.5x eyepieces. A 6:1 zoom ratio and motorized focus (up to 72 mm travel) allow the surgeon to adjust magnification and working distance without repositioning. The objective lens can be set to manual or motorized focus, with working distances ranging from 207–470 mm. Field of view scales from 31–320 mm depending on configuration. Optional modules expand capability: - FL800 fluorescence module - C100 camera system - Lateral tilt adapters
