The Leica MS2 M500n is a binocular surgical microscope on a motorized floor stand. It features a binocular head rotatable 0–180 degrees, 10x widefield eyepieces, and a variable objective lens with working distance range of 207–407 mm. Focus and zoom are motorized. The integrated light source combines a 300W xenon lamp with halogen backup. The floor stand includes six electromagnetic brakes and automatic balancing. Navigation uses a clutch-release mechanism.
