The Physio Control Lifepak CR Plus is a semi-automatic defibrillator designed for lay rescuers in commercial and public facilities. It provides voice-guided step-by-step instructions during use. The device operates in two modes: semi-automatic, where the operator delivers shocks by button press when prompted; and automatic, where the device detects shockable rhythms and delivers defibrillation without additional intervention. The internal defibrillation circuitry matches the technology used in professional EMS and hospital equipment. The CR Plus accepts standard adhesive electrode pads and displays rhythm analysis on its interface. Voice prompts guide the rescuer through CPR coaching and shock delivery sequences.
