The MediCap USB 300 HD is a portable video-capture system designed to record clinical displays and procedural video to USB storage media. It accepts video input via HDMI, DVI, or HD-SDI (depending on configuration), encodes the signal to MPEG-4 H.264 format at 1920 × 1080p resolution, and writes the stream to USB flash drives or external hard drives. Audio is captured via RCA input. A front-panel button set (Record, Stop, Play) with LED status indicators controls operation; HDMI pass-through allows simultaneous live display on an external monitor during recording.
