The SAM Medical IO Driver (model IO700-EN) is a manually operated intraosseous access device for emergency vascular access. The operator repeatedly compresses the trigger assembly while applying gentle downward pressure to rotate the needle assembly into the bone. Once positioned, the stylet is withdrawn to expose a standard Luer-lock connector, which accepts an extension set for aspiration verification, flushing, and drug administration.
