Steam indicator tape in 1-inch width, sold per roll. This tape is used in steam sterilization cycles to verify that steam has contacted the packaged load and that temperature has been reached. The tape changes color when exposed to steam and appropriate temperature, providing a visual confirmation of sterilization conditions. It is applied to the exterior of wrapped instrument packages before autoclaving.
