The Zeiss Artevo 800 is a heads-up surgical microscope system for ophthalmic procedures. It displays 3D stereoscopic imaging on a 55" 4K monitor, positioning the display above the surgical field to allow the surgeon to work in an upright posture. The system integrates intraoperative OCT (iOCT) to visualize retinal layers and anterior segment structures in real time without interrupting the procedure. A digital optical engine delivers high-resolution imaging with contrast and depth of field through advanced processing. The microscope connects to Zeiss surgical guidance platforms (CALLISTO eye and RESCAN 700) to overlay real-time surgical data such as keratometry, astigmatism, and retinal landmarks on the display. A wireless, programmable footswitch controls zoom, focus, illumination, and image capture. The system integrates with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and recording platforms for documentation and case sharing, and supports live broadcast of surgical cases for teaching and collaboration.
