The Zeiss Extaro 300 is a surgical microscope designed for procedural visualization in operating rooms and procedure suites. It features a manual apochromatic magnification changer, a 180° tiltable observation tube, and LED illumination at 5500 K color temperature. The microscope accepts 12.5x or 10x widefield eyepieces and uses a Varioskop 230 focusing system with a working distance of 200–430 mm. It is controlled via an ergonomic handgrip with mode control and single-finger adjustments. The unit can be mounted on a ceiling track, wall bracket, or floor stand depending on room layout and workflow requirements.
