The Zeiss Pentero 800 is a modular surgical microscope used in neurosurgery and other precision-guided procedures. It features a 200–500 mm working-distance Varioskop objective with apochromatic optics, dual 300W Xenon illumination (Superlux 330), and integrated high-definition video recording and streaming. The microscope receives guidance inputs from compatible navigation modules (Infrared 800, Flow 800, Blue 400, Yellow 560) and displays integrated navigation overlays alongside live video on an onboard HD monitor. The system can be controlled via touchscreen interface or optional wireless foot control. It includes laser autofocus, auto-balance adjustment, and auto-vacuum drape functionality.
