The Laerdal Infant Airway Management Trainer is a manikin designed for teaching and practicing airway management in neonatal and pediatric settings. It reproduces the anatomical structures of a 3-month-old infant, including the tongue, oropharynx, epiglottis, larynx, vocal cords, and trachea. The trainer supports instruction in bag-valve-mask ventilation, the Sellick maneuver, oral and nasal intubation, and laryngeal mask airway (LMA) placement. The manikin features realistic tissue material with elasticity to approximate in vivo conditions. Correct tube placement can be verified by inflation test, and the model simulates stomach inflation to provide feedback on technique.
Includes trainer manikin, airway lubricant, and directions for use.
