The Laerdal Pediatric Intraosseous Right Leg (model LAE231-00101) is a foam-based training simulator designed for procedural practice of intraosseous infusion on the pediatric lower extremity. The model features a realistic right leg with anatomical landmarks including the knee, tibia, tibial tuberosity (primary IO access site), and medial malleolus. The calf includes a drain plug in the heel to manage simulated blood drainage during repeated practice. The simulator is supplied with one foam leg, a bottle of red simulated blood, and an IV bag with solution set for fluid administration training.
